I can't find the toolkit address. What now?
The address is printed in the book. Search your Kindle edition for words like 'toolkit' or 'subthesis', or look through your print copy. If you still can't find it, email angel@subthesis.com.
The Digital Toolkit's web address is printed in The Project Brain, and both the Kindle e-book and the print edition include it. This Help Center doesn't publish the address, because it comes with the book, but here's how to track it down.
If you have the Kindle e-book
Most Kindle apps and devices let you search the whole book:
- Open the book and choose the search option in your Kindle app or device.
- Search for toolkit. If that returns too many results, try subthesis, since the toolkit is hosted on Subthesis.
- Open the result that shows the web address.
If search returns nothing, make sure the book has fully downloaded, then try again.
If you have the print edition
Look through your copy for the toolkit's web address. It's a regular web address you type into your browser, so it should stand out from the surrounding text.
Once you find it
Type the address into your browser exactly as printed. No password, code, or account is needed. Bookmark the page when it opens. Full steps are in How do I access the Digital Toolkit?
If the address doesn't load, read The toolkit address isn't working. What should I do?
Still can't find it
Email angel@subthesis.com. Say which edition you have (Kindle e-book or print) and that you can't locate the toolkit address. This address handles toolkit access problems.
Use the address printed in your book rather than one shared by others online. The toolkit never asks for a password or payment, so be wary of any page that does.
Haven't bought the book yet?
