Which AI tools does the book cover?
Claude (Sonnet and Opus) is the primary tool. Google Gemini handles deep research and large-context analysis. The technical chapters add VS Code, Claude Code, Python scripts, and MCP servers.
The book uses a small set of tools, each with a specific job.
AI assistants
- Claude (Sonnet and Opus): the primary tool throughout the book, used to build your Project Brain and to produce plans, visuals, meeting outputs, simulations, and reports.
- Google Gemini: used for deep research and large-context analysis. The book calls combining assistants a multi-AI strategy, and Chapter 14 is a Gemini supplement.
- ChatGPT: also referenced.
Technical tools (Chapters 11–13)
- VS Code: your local command center
- Claude Code: AI assistance working directly in your local environment
- Python scripts: what the book calls "disposable software", small scripts for specific jobs
- MCP servers: for connecting AI to other tools and data
- Next.js: for building your command center
Supporting tools
- Meeting transcription tools such as Otter.ai and Fireflies.ai, which produce transcripts you can feed into your meeting workflow
