What's in the video library?

The Video Library has 28 videos covering AI-powered project management and core PM skills such as scope, risk, estimation, and stakeholders. Each video opens in a companion blog article.

The Video Library collects 28 videos from The Project Brain. They mix AI-specific topics with the project management fundamentals that the AI techniques build on.

Topics covered

  • Using AI as a PM: building your own PMO with Claude, AI fluency, prompt engineering with personas, agentic AI, and a guide to AI tools for project managers.
  • Planning and control: work breakdown structures, the critical path, estimation under uncertainty, earned value management, risk registers, and preventing scope creep.
  • People and communication: stakeholder engagement, influencing sponsors without authority, difficult conversations, running effective meetings, Tuckman's team stages, and managing remote teams.
  • Career and skills: the PM career path, decision-making frameworks, business communication, business jargon, and public speaking.
  • Reporting and lessons: writing RAG status reports and the root causes of project failure.

How the library is organized

Each video card shows the video's thumbnail (served from selfmadepm.com), a category badge, the title, and a short description. Videos use the same categories as the blog, and only categories that contain videos appear as filter buttons. Most videos sit in Core Capabilities, with others in Foundation, Advanced, Tips & Tricks, and Case Studies.

Use the search box to filter by title, description, or tags. See How do I find a video on a specific topic?

Where the videos play

Clicking a video's title or its Watch Video button opens the video's companion blog article, which embeds the video alongside a written version of the lesson. Read more in What is a companion article for a video?

A good first video is the one paired with How to Build Your Own AI-Powered PMO with Claude.
