How do I find a video on a specific topic?
Open the Video Library and type in the Search videos box. Results filter as you type across titles, descriptions, and tags, and category buttons narrow the list further.
The Video Library has its own search and category filters, separate from the blog's.
Search for a topic
- Open the Video Library.
- Click the box labelled Search videos... and type a topic, such as "scope", "risk", or "meetings".
- The grid filters as you type. A line above it shows how many videos match.
- Click a video's title or Watch Video to open it.
Search matches your text against each video's title, description, and tags. Tags are often written as single words, like "ProjectManagement", so a short keyword usually works better than a phrase.
Filter by category
Below the search box are category buttons, starting with All. Only categories that contain videos are shown, each with a count. Pick a category to see only its videos; your search then applies within that category. Click All to go back to the full list.
If nothing matches, use the Clear filters button to reset both the search and the category.
If you can't find it
- Try a related term. The critical path video, for example, also turns up for "scheduling" or "CPM".
- Search the blog too. There are far more articles than videos, and some articles cover the same topic in writing. See How do I search the blog?
- Browse the YouTube playlist if you prefer YouTube's own interface.
Example searches
- "WBS" finds the work breakdown structure video, paired with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Explained Step by Step.
- "status" finds the video on RAG status reports, paired with How to Write Project Status Reports Executives Read.
