Is Self Made PM a PMI Authorized Training Partner?

No. Self Made PM isn't a PMI Authorized Training Partner, and PMI doesn't pre-approve the courses. You self-report the PDUs yourself under PMI's Online or Digital Media category.

No. Self Made PM isn't a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), and it isn't affiliated with PMI. PMI doesn't review or pre-approve these courses, so they aren't PMI-approved or accredited. Every certificate includes a note saying so.

Can I still claim PDUs?

These courses are designed for self-reporting. All 23 fall under PMI's Online or Digital Media category, where credential holders claim learning they've completed themselves. You enter the provider, course title, completion date, and PDUs, and PMI may audit the claim.

To report a course, see How do I report these PDUs to PMI? Whether a specific activity counts is PMI's decision, so check PMI's current CCR Handbook for its rules.

What's different from an ATP course

  • You enter the details yourself. Type the provider, course title, date, and PDUs from your certificate.
  • Credit depends on your recorded time. Each course credits the time you actually spend learning, rounded down to the nearest 0.25 PDU and capped at a listed maximum. Report the PDUs on your certificate, not the maximum. See How is PDU credit calculated for each course?
  • Your records are your evidence. Keep your certificate and learning notes. Read What should I keep in case of a PMI audit?

Who makes the courses

The courses are produced by Self Made PM / The Project Brain, a Subthesis project, and taught by an ACP & PMP certified professional. That describes the instructor's credentials, not a partnership with PMI. For the site's other affiliations, read Is Self Made PM affiliated with PMI or AI vendors?
