Which courses count toward Ways of Working?

Nine courses are tagged Ways of Working, with listed maximums adding up to 22.5 PDUs. Your actual credit is based on the learning time you record, not the listed value.

Nine of the 23 free courses are tagged Ways of Working, the Talent Triangle area for the methods, tools, and techniques you use to deliver projects. The area is printed on each certificate.

The courses

The listed values add up to 22.5 PDUs, but that total is a sum of maximums.

What you'll actually earn

Credit is based on the time the site records while you learn: the video playing on the course page plus time on the knowledge check (up to 15 minutes per attempt). It's rounded down to the nearest 0.25 PDU and capped at the listed maximum. Because these videos run about 18 to 29 minutes, most people record well under the listed value. Report the PDUs shown on your certificate, not the listed number. The details are in How is PDU credit calculated for each course?.

Where to start

If you're new to AI, four courses in this area cover it from different angles; see Which PDU courses cover AI for project managers?. For classic delivery skills, the estimation, EVM, and change control courses pair well with their companion articles on project estimation and change control.

All courses are free, need no account, and are self-reported to PMI under Online or Digital Media. Browse everything in the PDU catalog.
