- Can I back up or export my LocalPM data? Not yet. LocalPM has no export, import, or backup feature, so your data exists only in the browser where you created it. Keeping that browser's site data intact is the way to keep it safe.
- Does LocalPM have dark mode or keyboard shortcuts?Yes to dark mode: click the moon icon at the top right to switch, and LocalPM remembers your choice. The only keyboard shortcut is Esc, which closes any open dialog.
- Does LocalPM work offline or across devices?Yes, once it has loaded: LocalPM makes no network calls, so it keeps working without a connection. You need internet only to open or reload it. Data doesn't sync between devices, browsers, or users.

- How do I run a sprint retrospective in LocalPM?Open Retro, click New Retro, choose an active or completed sprint, and fill in what went well, what could be improved, and action items. Then click Create Retrospective.
- How do I start and complete a sprint? On the Sprints page, click Start Sprint on a sprint in Planning to make it active. When the sprint ends, click Complete Sprint on the active sprint's card.

- What happens to stories when I delete an epic?Your stories are kept. Deleting an epic removes only the epic itself and unlinks its stories, which stay in the backlog with their status, sprint, points, and other details unchanged.
- What happens when I delete a sprint? The sprint is removed permanently, and every story in it goes back to the backlog with its status set to Backlog. The stories themselves are not deleted.
- What is a project key in LocalPM?A project key is a short uppercase code of up to 6 characters, such as WEB or MKTG, that identifies a project. LocalPM suggests one from the project name, and it appears in the project's address.
- What is LocalPM?LocalPM is a free, browser-based agile project management tool. It gives you a Kanban board, backlog, sprints, epics, standups, retrospectives, and reports, and it stores everything in your own browser.
- What reports does LocalPM include?Reports shows six summary numbers, a Velocity chart comparing committed and completed points for each completed sprint, and story distributions by status and by priority. There's no burndown chart.
- What story statuses and priorities are available?Stories have five statuses: Backlog, To Do, In Progress, In Review, and Done. There are four priorities: Critical, High, Medium, and Low. New stories start as Backlog and Medium.
- Where does LocalPM store my data?Everything is saved in your browser's localStorage, on your device, under the key localpm-data. Nothing is sent to a server, so your data exists only in that browser profile.
- Why can only one sprint be active at a time? Each LocalPM project can have one active sprint, because the Kanban board shows that sprint's work. Starting a new sprint automatically completes the one that's currently active.
- Why can't I drag cards on a touchscreen? The Kanban board uses mouse-based drag and drop, which touchscreens don't support. On a phone or tablet, open the story from the Backlog view and change its Status field instead.
